Mandarin Library Automation, Inc. has announced the release of Mandarin PACPortal, a Web-based search tool that incorporates the functionality of OPAC searching with the powerful search capabilities of MuseSearch™ by MuseGlobal, Inc.

This portal product allows patrons to conduct a search from a single search interface, simultaneously returning results not only from the local library's collection, but also from the library's subscription databases and popular Internet search engines. It also allows patrons to manage search results, including reserving and renewing items, sending ILL requests, saving results, and more.
