"Anthem," the third film directed by award winning writer, Dean J. Augustin, has been selected for screening at the 2005 Black Earth Film Festival, September 30 through October 2.

(PRWEB) September 8, 2005 -- "Anthem," the third film directed by award winning writer, Dean J. Augustin, has been selected for screening at the 2005 Black Earth Film Festival, September 30 through October 2.

The Galesburg, Illinois, Civic Art League sponsors the Black Earth Film Festival. The league is a non-profit membership organization with over 400 business and individual members. The festival is held at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Galesburg. The Orpheum is listed with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

"Its truly an honor to be included in the Black Earth Film Festival," says Augustin. "Its a especially an honor to have Anthem" screened at such a beautiful and historic venue."

"Anthem" is a film that explores the fundamental question, What does the Constitution of The United States say?" "Anthem" presents a personal vision of the Constitution, and how a single comment, "Im moving to France," can come to stand for the greater dream of acceptance and self-worth.

According to Susan Adkins of Adkins and Associates, "Anthem has to be one of the most unbiased, fair, and interesting assessments of the American people and the American constitution Ive seen or heard."

"Anthem" was filmed in College Station and McKinney, Texas as well as Paris and Normandy, France. "I was looking for a fusion of technology with the 'roots of independent film," says the McKinney, Texas-based filmmaker. "A simple production that entertains a wide audience." 'Anthem' won a Documentary Remi Award at this years WorldFest Film Festival in Houston.

In recognition of 'Anthems' selection, The Good Fight - Digital Motion Pictures, is offering a 35% discount on any Anthem DVD purchased in September. "Just go to our Video Shop (http://www.customflix.com/206552) and use the code VKBTZXJE," says Augustin, "Its a great way to introduce our films."
