Vortech Hosting Announces Acquisition of RocketColo

Vortech Incorporated announced today that it has acquired Florida based RocketColo.net, a co-location and dedicated server provider.

ORLANDO, FL (PRWEB) September 7, 2005 -- Vortech Incorporated (http://www.vortechhosting.com), a web hosting provider currently hosting over 120,000 domain names, announced today that it has acquired Florida based RocketColo.net (http://www.rocketcolo.net), a co-location and dedicated server provider.

The buyout, which was finalized on Thursday, included the RocketColo.net network, servers, and all other company assets. RocketColo.net is currently located in the same datacenter as Vortech Inc, so the transition is expected to be extremely smooth.

We are hoping that by purchasing the assets of RocketColo, we will be able to grow our network and increase our customer base," said Vortech Inc owner Brad Pugh.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Pugh says payment was made up front for the company, and he plans to immediately make beneficial changes for the companys customers.

All clients of RocketColo will enjoy additional connectivity at no additional charge, as we are including them in our network," said Pugh. Connectivity to Progress Telcom, AT&T, Level(3), Sprint, and Cogent has been added.

In addition, customers of RocketColo.net will be offered an upgrade to 1,000 GB of monthly bandwidth at no additional charge. No downtime is expected during the transition.

Vortech currently operates a cluster of 9 mail servers, 40 Windows servers, 20 FreeBSD Systems, 5 MySql, 8 MSsql servers.
