Fenix Rehab Systems Helps Chronic Pain Sufferers Locate Muscle Knots and Find Relief

There's nothing like personal experiences to help solve problems and that's just what Dr. Greg Fors did when he developed the Fenix Rehab System, a product that helps chronic pain sufferers find relief and wellness.

(PRWEB) September 8, 2005 -- There's nothing like personal experiences to help solve problems and that's just what Dr. Greg Fors did when he developed the Fenix Rehab System, a product that helps chronic pain sufferers find relief and wellness.

As a sufferer of both low back pain and shoulder-arm pain, Dr. Fors, a board-certified neurologist and doctor of Chiropractic, applied his knowledge to create a treatment platform with interchangeable therapeutic digits that apply pain releasing trigger-point therapy to the pain-causing muscle knots. The trigger points are hyperirritable tissue in muscles and tendons that cause local tenderness, stiffness, and referral pain.

"With this method I and many of my patients were able to find natural relief from muscle and joint pain without the need of drugs," Dr. Fors said.

When his oldest daughter developed severe fibromyalgia, a condition that results in pain and stiffness of muscles, Dr. Fors used his system to help her. "When she was first diagnosed, she had to crawl up the stairs to her bedroom," he says. The Fenix Rehab System "gently treated her myofascial trigger points, helping her recover."

With his own personal experiences, and the experience of treating his chronic pain patients, Dr. Fors developed this physical and metabolic system to help relieve pain.

Information about the Fenix Rehab System is available at www.fenixstopspain.com. There are three models to choose from that will satisfy a persons needs and budget.

There is a need for effective relief from chronic pain. A 2003 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association estimates that one of three adults suffer some form of chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Back pain was cited as the leading cause of disability in Americans under 45 years of age, according to a study published in Spine (Jan 1, 2004). A 1999 survey conducted by the American Academy of Pain Medicine claimed a majority of chronic pain sufferers do not have it under control.

The Fenix Rehab System provides pain relief by duplicating the pressure therapy used by clinicians and massage therapists, Dr. Fors says. "For the clinician, this therapy although effective is exhaustive work. Many clinicians no longer offer this comprehensive myofascial treatment. The strain of this therapy causes a high incidence of injuries for the health care provider."

Dr. Fors says, "The Fenix Rehab System allows chronic pain sufferers to treat their pain at any time, saving them the cost and time of repeated visits to the doctor's office. Since there are no drugs involved in this program, there is no risk of adverse effects."
