World Vision, the international Christian humanitarian organization, will be providing nearly 75 Dallas-area churches relief supplies Thursday for victims of Hurricane Katrina now living in Dallas. The half million dollars in supplies include blankets, new clothing, water and other personal care items.

"World Vision's role is that of a servant leader, providing emergency care supplies to churches and other agencies responding directly to those affected by this tragic natural disaster," says World Vision President Richard E. Stearns.
