The most common error is the loss of highlight or shadow details with digital cameras. Due to the limit of latitude, it is not possible to judge from the LCD monitor for this error.
Mr. F. H. Tong invented it for readers of his book "DigiPhoto Guide for Beginners," but realized that this method would be helpful for all digital camera users too, so he released to the public free of charge.
To let more people enjoy this method; the Mytcard Method is now listed in Download.com Home & Education-Hobbies or http://www.download.com/3000-2309_4-10428763.html or visit http://www.mytcard.com for further information.
It is a copyrighted digital image file for printing to a 4R photo with normal settings. Mount it on a card and use it for test exposure. There is an instruction about how to find the exposure adjustment. In case of need, one can order the complete set of Mytcard mounted on card and instruction sheet from http://www.english.t-photo.com with charge of US$2.80 for the cost and postage.
