A subsidiary corporation of Sharicom, Inc., Merus Holdings Corporation completes the acquisition of three additional hotel leases. Sharicom, Inc. or its subsidiaries own, operate, or lease 23 hotels in 3 states.
Florence, KY, (PRWEB) September 9, 2005 -- Merus Holdings Corporation (doing business as Merus Holdings Group), a hotel real estate lessee, today announced that it had completed the acquisition of 3 hotel leases from separate owners. The three hotels leased will carry flags by Ivy Hotels International, Inc., a new hotel franchisor which Sharicom, Inc. owns 51 percent.
The hotels leased by Merus Holdings Group, another Sharicom subsidiary will also operate the hotels. "We've received many requests for information related to Ivy Hotels International, Inc." stated Jordan Palmer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sharicom, Inc. "However, we are not yet ready to begin franchise offerings; we first wanted to acquire hotels to convert to Hotel Ivy, Ivy Lodge, Ivy Suites, or Hotel Ivy Grand and have fully operational products, with defining features."
Palmer stated further "We have begun the process of setting Ivy Hotels International, Inc. apart from its competition, and have made solid progress, as evidenced by the hotels' financial performance. We are pleased with the progress we have made and we look forward with optimism toward the future. We will continue renegotiating additional leases for conversion to an Ivy Hotels brand."
