Object Migration Manager enables organizations to migrate AOL objects, setups, extensions and developments between Oracle Applications instances with zero errors, dramatically reducing the time required for this otherwise manual process.

Earlier versions of Object Migration Manager enabled administrators to create packages of AOL objects, setups, extensions and developments acquired from a source Oracle Applications instance. Object Migration Manager then transferred and applied those packages of objects to the target instance.

With the addition of version control system integration, Object Migration Manager expands the locations from which it can acquire objects beyond just a source instance. The new version can check out objects from an organization's version control system. In addition, once Object Migration Manager creates its package of objects for uploading to the target instance, Object Migration Manager can check in the package to the same version control system. This functionality enhances the auditability and control of changes to the Oracle environment and gives Object Migration Manager a clear advantage over competing products.
