Rich and Moving Debut Novel, 'The Pacific Between,' by Asian Immigrant Speaks True To The Heart

Asian authors are making waves in the literary world. Fans of Asian-American actor-writer and columnist Raymond K. Wong will be thrilled with the release of his debut novel 'The Pacific Between' by Behler Publications. The advance buzz is impressive.

(PRWEB) September 12, 2005 -- Behler Publications is proud to announce the release of Raymond K. Wong's moving novel, "The Pacific Between." Written with a rich Asian voice that speaks from the heart, Mr. Wong's story reaches in and touches the readers' soul like hot tea on a bleak wintry night.

"Betrayal makes us do strange things."

Imagine returning home to attend your parents’ funeral and discovering that your late father might have had an illicit affair with your ex-lover. The only person who knows the truth is 10,000 miles away. Suspicions, anger and jealousy take American entrepreneur Greg Lockland on a transpacific journey to find the truth about such an affair. One by one, people from the past return to his life, including elusive and perfect Lian. Uncovering the deep-rooted deceptions creates more twists and turns than an old Chinese alleyway.

In this world of wars and natural disasters, we need uplifting stories about what is really important. The Pacific Between evinces the power of unconditional love and deals with personal subjects such as death, estrangement, and betrayal. It is a man's journey to discover himself and the world around him. Told with wit and humor, this nostalgic tale speaks true to the heart about relationships, families, and sacrifices. "The Pacific Between" is not a love story; it is a story about love.

To be released by Behler Publications of Lake Forest, CA, in February, 2006. Available now for pre-order through the publisher as well as all Internet and brick-and-mortar booksellers.
