Wood Dale, IL (PRWEB) September 10, 2005 -- Diane Anjoue announces publication of Poetry Collection de Jolie-Laide, wanting to be lost within... in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the worlds fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.
A collection of poetry filled with love, life, laughter and even heartbreak. "Jolie-laide" is a fascinating slang expression borne of the French. Literally it means "pretty-ugly" yet it describes an aspect of feminine beauty that is human, and not artificially created. It is a form of wonderful quirkiness implying charisma, a face you're drawn to, even if you can't decide whether or not it is beautiful.
Diane Anjoue wrote Poetry Collection de Jolie-Laide, wanting to be lost within... because she wanted to share the beauty of poetry with those who believe that poetry is a lost art . She came to Lulu because she wanted to be in control of the publishing process and found Lulus print-on-demand tools to be fast, easy and, most importantly, free. Poetry Collection de Jolie-Laide, wanting to be lost within... is available for purchase at www.lulu.com/DianeAnjoue.
Diane Anjoue states that, Writing each piece of poetry has been an experience in itself and sharing my poetry with the public has been tantamount to sharing a vital piece of who I am. Releasing this book through Lulu was proof positive that the average person can be published without the headache and hassle that is associated with the publishing process."
The word 'lulu is an old-fashioned term for a remarkable idea, person, place or thing, and Diane Anjoue and her work certainly fit that description," said Henry Hutton, Director of Operations, Lulu.
