Atlanta Wedding Industry Bans Together to Assist Survivors of Hurricane Katrina

Spa Party Creations and Event Perfect take the lead in organizing a fundraiser to support the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

(PRWEB) September 9, 2005 -- Spa Party Creations and Event Perfect have joined forces in an effort to unite with others within the Atlanta Wedding Industry to assist survivors of Hurricane Katrina. In an unprecedented fashion, Atlanta wedding vendors are donating significant time and resources towards a much-anticipated fundraising event.

The event, entitled "Candlelight Moments: A Celebration of Survival Benefiting the Survivors of Hurricane Katrina", will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Event Perfect Wedding Library located in the Virginia Highlands Community.

The evening will feature live music, fantastic food, cake tasting, wine tasting, poetry, journaling, yoga, spa treatments, belly dance lesson, amazing ambiance, great company and much, much more! As a special treat, Atlanta Chocolate Fountains will be on site bringing a little taste of heaven to attendees with their decadent chocolate fountains. Organizers promise to nurture mind, body and soul for those who decide to make a difference by attending the event.

Coordinators Monica Moody and Lisa Chappelear Milko noted that they wanted to plan the type of event that would be "life enhancing" explaining that, "these days people are looking for meaningful experiences -- experiences that truly nurture and enrich". With this event, the attendees' experience will be further enhanced by their commitment towards giving to others in need.
