Society for Nonprofit Organizations Announces Online Non-Profit Management Skills Courses
The Society for Nonprofit Organizations (SNPO) announced today a series of online courses designed to focus on enhancing skills for managers in the nonprofit sector.
(PRWEB) September 11, 2005 -- The Society for Nonprofit Organizations (SNPO) announced today a series of online courses designed to focus on enhancing skills for managers in the nonprofit sector. SNPO's Learning Institute has implemented an eight-program series of online courses entitled Excellence in Non-Profit Management and Leadership" that focuses on the key result areas of managing and leading a nonprofit organization.
Course topics include strategic planning, financial management, marketing, resource development, social entrepreneurship, volunteer management, board development and strategic alliances. Program graduates will receive a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management with continuing education credits from Michigan State University. The online courses will include video, audio, print materials and slideshow in a custom-developed interface. Students who are interested in an interactive learning experience can also sign up for a facilitated Group Study program which begins on September 15th.
