Attorney Wyrick has practiced law since 1997. His commitment to helping people is apparent by his chosen areas of practice which include Civil Rights Law, Criminal Defense, Juvenile Law, Personal Injury, and Probate Law.
His awards include the 2004, Civil Rights and Education," United States Attorney's Office, Black History Month Award; 2004 Trailblazer Award" from Jordan Educational Consulting Inc., Five under Ten" Award from the University of Michigan, African American Alumni Council; Who's Who in America; the Federal Bar Association, Pro Bono Project Award; Respect for Law, Optimist International; and an award from the Detroit Branch NAACP for Outstanding Leadership in Affirmative Action.
He has lectured at various places, including on Trial Techniques," for Lorman Education Services, the Northville Psychiatric Hospital, Continuing Medical Education program, on the topic, Guardianship: Legal Perspective," and at the Detroit Branch NAACP George W. Crockett Community Law School in the years 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001, on the topic of Racial Profiling/Driving While Black.
He is currently a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, the National Bar Association, and the Board of Directors for the Wolverine Bar Association. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Wolverine Bar Association, and the National Bar Association, Region VI.
