Witches Make Clean Sweep at International Conference in Albany, NY

Over Labor Day weekend Pagan leaders and teachers swept into Albany, NY dedicating themselves to expanding education in the United States and globally at Witch School Education and Leadership Conference.

(PRWEB) September 12, 2005 -- Over Labor Day weekend Pagan leaders and teachers swept into Albany, NY dedicating themselves to expanding education in the United States and globally at Witch School Education and Leadership Conference. With public education under assault from Christian Churches to bring more faith and biblical study to all students, Wiccans and Pagans realized that they must seek to preserve knowledge and information for future generations lest it be forgotten and destroyed.

From Life Passages workshops where Pagan Clergy trained to conduct life passage ceremonies such as Wiccanings, handfastings and funerals, to workshops on Magical Specialties and Reiki Energy Healing, conference attendees took the opportunity to expand the breadth of their magical and community-building training.

Special guest speaker Rt. Rev. Pete "Pathfinder" Davis of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church flew in from Washington to participate in workshops on Clergy Ethics and Standards, Building a Sustainable Infrastructure and Interfaith Relations. Phil Farber, the noted author of FUTURERITUAL: presented a workshop on Rapport 101: Making a Rapid Connection. Frater Archad AL of the Sanctuary of Thoth led a workshop on Ceremonial Magic. Other attendees arrived from as far away as Barbados, Canada, Arkansas, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. Wisconsin and many other locations.

A DVD is now available for the Witch School Education and Leadership Conference hosted by the Correllian Nativist Tradition at Trinity Temple in Albany, NY on September 1st through 4th, 2005. This DVD documents this historic event and gives insight into understanding more about the infrastructure of the Correllian Tradition and the Pagan Community as a whole. While a rough experimental piece, it shows in one place the staff of Witch School and the Correllian Tradition, sharing with the leaders of other traditions as well. They discuss Paganism, Leadership, as well as magic and the power of ritual and energy working.

The Correllian Nativist Tradition is the largest and fasted growing Wiccan Church in the world. It is a legal Church and a public Charity in the United States, having full 501c3 status. The Correllian Nativist Tradition has locations in countries around the world including the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden, Uruguay, Mexico, Belgium, Argentina, and Spain and members in many other places including Peru, Brazil, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Almost 150,000 people have registered as students of Witch School since September 4, 2001. WitchSchool.com is the first truly online school dedicated to Wiccan, Pagan and magical thought. The Witch School system is highly interactive providing many different ways to truly learn about the Magical and Wiccan world using the best of the current communication tools available as well as quality materials to create an educational environment second to none.
