New York, NY (PRWEB) September 12, 2005 --- Womens Transportation Seminar (WTS) has assembled a panel of leading experts to provide the latest information on security measures for the NY-NJ transit industry, in light of the London tube bombings and other recent developments. The event, entitled Best Practices, Tactics and Technologies Against Terror" will be held September 21, 2005 at Club 101 in Manhattan, 40th and Park Avenue and begins at 5:30 pm.
Event speakers include Moderator David Gaier, a security consultant and journalist; Mohsen A. Jafari Ph.D., Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Rutgers University; Christopher Kozub, Associate Director for Workplace Safety and Security Programs, National Transit Institute; Frank OHare, President, O'Hare Security Specialists, and Retired Deputy Inspector, NYPD Transit Bureau; and Craig Stewart, Chief Officer, Capital Programs, Dept. of Subways, MTA -- NYCT.
Fee for members is $45 and non-members, $60. Accredited, working members of the media will be admitted free of charge with advance registration and proper identification.
