Rare Bordeaux, Burgundy and California Cult wines to be offered at the Edward Roberts International September 24th Fine Wine Auction.

The Edward Roberts International September 24th, 2005 fine wine auction at the Chicago Yacht Club features some exciting private consignments with excellent provenance highlighted by a number of legendary wines including: 1955 and 1961 Chateau Latour with a rare magnum of the 1959 vintage, 1961 La Mission Haut-Brion including a prized magnum, several accoladed vintages of Chateau Petrus including 1962, 1970, 1971 and 1975; a nice selection of highly rated 1982 and 2000 Bordeaux, all three single vineyard 1990 Guigal Cote Roties, a wide array of collectible DRC selections including 1969, 1972 and 1983 Romanee-Conti; a nice range of sought after California cult wines including Screaming Eagle, Harlan and Marcassin; and many other desirable selections offering myriad opportunities for serious seasoned collectors as well as novice auction participants and astute bargain hunters. Of particular note is the extensive selection of desirable large formats.

A Pre-sale tasting of 25 select wines will be held prior to the auction beginning at 10:00 am CST. The auction will commence promptly at 11:00 am CST.
