Bianca restaurant announces the promotion of Chef de Cuisine, Michael Fiorello to the position of Executive Chef.

It is with great pleasure that Bianca restaurant announces the promotion of Chef de Cuisine, Michael Fiorello to the position of Executive Chef. Dominique Filoni created the restaurant in conjunction with World Class Restaurant Partners and is now ready to pursue his next opportunity.

"Developing this concept and watching the restaurant grow has been extremely rewarding," says French Master Chef Filoni. "The continued success of the restaurant is certain and my leadership is no longer needed. The talent and motivation of Michael Fiorello is apparent to guests and staff alike and the restaurant will flourish with him at the stoves."

In his new role, Chef Fiorello will lead the already successful culinary brigade and will place his signature on Bianca's menu of contemporary American cuisine with a French accent. Mr. Fiorello, a 2003 graduate of CIA, has worked with Mr. Filoni for three years, both at Bianca and the critically acclaimed Savona in Gulph Mills, PA, and interned at the famed Little Nell in Aspen, CO.

Dominique Filoni has been featured on the Food Network, CBS, CNBC, in Wine Spectator, Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, among others. His cuisine has been lauded by John Mariani of Esquire as "exquisitely fresh and wonderfully simple" while the Philadelphia Inquirer describes it as "so spectacular that (she) cannot imagine anything equaling or surpassing it . . . ever."

The 100-seat Bianca opened in October 2004 and the sophisticated neighborhood restaurant has been recognized with "Best New Restaurant", "Best Chef" and "Best Dessert" honors from Main Line Today, and with two "Best of Philly" awards from Philadelphia magazine. The comfortable, yet elegant décor is a perfect backdrop for the classically-driven, simple cuisine and 100-bottle wine list featuring eclectic and top-tier wines from around the world.
