(PRWEB) September 15, 2005 -- The market is hungry for companies having anything to do with energy. Energy prices are increasing at a frantic pace; the recent events in New Orleans have given the world a view of Mother Nature's power of destruction. Hence, the market has pent up demand for energy related IPO's, although; the market is more selective than it was one year ago.

The biggest energy related IPO year to date was the US $2.9 billion offering of China Shenhua Energy Company Ltd. on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

There is more than one way to go public besides the traditional route. Houston based Endeavor International Corp. (END) and Petrohawk Energy Corp. (HAWK ) went public by acquiring a public entity; the post IPO market has accepted these companies with open arms. Endeavor's market cap is currently US $400 million and Petrohawk is currently valued at over US $800 million. The above mentioned market sentiment is certainly a positive for PST. The Company continues to pursue its listing as planned.
