- After seeing the widespread devastation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and hearing firsthand accounts of hardship from family members living there, photo frames manufacturer Frame Destination, Inc. (http://www.framedestination.com) decided to donate 2% of its gross sales for the remainder of 2005 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Frame Destination's President Mark Rogers and his wife Joely both grew up in the Gulfport/Biloxi area, and they return often to visit family. The couple states, “We are deeply saddened by the destruction inflicted on this beautiful and historically rich part of America. The donation is our attempt at helping to alleviate some of the suffering.”

In addition, Rogers wants to raise awareness about the newly launched Gulf Coast Disaster Relief Gallery hosted at http://www.explodingeye.com/disaster.html. The gallery features images from an international group of fine art photographers donated to help raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Their goal is to offer a visual and tangible incentive for donating to the relief effort. All images in the gallery are offered as print only in 8x10 or 8x12 sizes. Each image is available for a purchase/contribution price of $25.00 with free shipping. 100% of the funds will be donated to the American Red Cross. *More contributing photographers are urgently needed.* For further information log onto http://www.explodingeye.com/disaster.html or contact Peter Cohen, Gallery Manager, Gulf Coast Disaster Relief Gallery.
