Catholic Familyland, the 950-acre center in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, will host its 17th International “Totus Tuus Consecrate Them in Truth” Family Conference this October 14-16, 2005. Conference talks will focus on “The Eucharist: Uniting and Empowering Families for the New Evangelization.”

The goal of this event is to strengthen familial relationships through a variety of discussions, informative presentations and activities, all presented in the form of three specialized conferences – one designed specifically for adults, another for teenagers and a third for young children.

“We hope to give participants of all ages the opportunity to learn how the Eucharist must be the main factor in building up their family, parish, and neighborhood, we do this through the three conferences in one – talks for the adults, sessions and activities for the youth and children,” stated Jerry Coniker, father of 13 and co-founder with Gwen of Catholic Familyland and Familyland TV Network.

Conference speakers include Bishop Roger Foys; Dr. Scott Hahn; Kimberly Hahn; Christine Vollmer, member of the Pope's committee for the Family; Marianne Presberg, mother of 12 and author on parenting; Bill Federer, historian, speaker and best-selling author; Familyland Television personalities Fr. Kevin Barrett, Fr. Bernard Geiger, and Jerry Coniker, co-founder with his late wife Gwen, of the Apostolate for Family Consecration.
