Donations help the American Behcets Disease Association raise awareness about this rare, debilitating autoimmune disease. Register or donate at behcets.com.

(PRWEB) September 17, 2005 -- Please join the ABDA for the 2005 Walk for Behcets (Beh-shets) Disease sponsored by Bausch & Lomb at Eisenhower Park -- Long Island, New York. Registration, $30., is at 8:30am, walk begins at 10:00am. Also there will be There will speakers at Uniondale Marriott regarding Behcet's Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, please see website for more information. Donations will help the American Behcets Disease Association raise awareness about this rare, debilitating autoimmune disease that is much like Lupus or MS, but severely misdiagnosed. More than 20,000 men, women and children are diagnosed in America, but thousands more go untreated due to lack of education about this rare disease in the medical field. All ages and all walks of life can suffer from this horrible disease.

Registration is $30.00 or donate on-line at www.behcets.com or call 1-800-7BEHCETS for more information about walking or sponsoring someone who is.
