Independent Musicians to Tour America in Support of Hurricane Katrina Survivors
Musicians will raise funds for Red Cross, Little Stuff Fund, Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity.
Detroit (PRWEB) September 19, 2005 -- In an unprecedented union of grassroots support, over 30 independent musicians along with venues and event organizers across America have teamed up to organize a music tour to benefit hurricane relief.
This team has joined together under the banner of the Music Tour Network (www.MusicTourNetwork.com). Proceeds from the shows will go to charities including the American Red Cross, Little Stuff Fund, Humane Society, and Habitat for Humanity.
Tom Libertiny, founding member of the Music Tour Network says, "Many of us have either lived in the areas struck by the hurricane or have family and friends who presently live there. Saving lives and giving people a hand up who are in need is what this tour is all about.
