Yvonne Compitello Named Senior Investment Manager by The Hampshire Companies

The Hampshire Companies, a full service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1 billion, today announced the appointment of Yvonne Compitello as Senior Investment Manager for the firmÂ?s Hampshire Partners Fund VI (Fund VI), a $235 million real estate discretionary investment fund.

The Hampshire Companies, a full service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1 billion, today announced the appointment of Yvonne Compitello as Senior Investment Manager for the firm's Hampshire Partners Fund VI (Fund VI), a $235 million real estate discretionary investment fund.

In her capacity as Fund VI's Senior Investment Manager, Compitello will provide oversight of the valuation and growth of Fund VI's assets, including the supervision of the funds' valuation methodology and tracking of the funds' key performance indicators. She will also evaluate proposed Fund acquisitions, and be responsible for due diligence.

Compitello's institutional knowledge of the real estate industry was honed through practical experience as a Real Estate Investment Executive for a number of high-profile commercial and residential real estate investment companies in the New Jersey area. Prior to joining The Hampshire Companies, Compitello served as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for SSR Realty Advisors (subsequently purchased by BlackRock, Inc.) of Morristown, NJ, managing assets for the Tower Fund, a $1.4 billion open-ended commingled real estate portfolio of office, apartment, retail and industrial properties with 56 institutional clients. In this capacity, she was directly responsible for investment performance, acquisitions and dispositions.

For several years preceding that post, Compitello was Chief Real Estate Officer and Senior Vice President for MBL Life Assurance Corporation in Newark, NJ, managing a $3.5 billion Mortgage and Real Estate Investment Portfolio consisting of commercial mortgage loans, equity owned assets, joint ventures and agricultural loans.
