Source of Title, a leading provider of marketing and media services to the title insurance industry, has announced today that it has reached 10,000 registered users. Users on Source of Title are provided a free business listing, access to industry news and the industry's most active message forums. The Web site averages more than 150,000 page views each month.

Source of Title debuted in 2002 as an open directory allowing title industry professionals to list and promote their businesses, such as title companies, independent abstractors, notaries public, surveyors, appraisers, and other related businesses. There are currently more than 4,300 companies listed in the directory and it has become the primary resource for many to locate title service providers; logging more than 12,000 searches monthly.

"Source of Title is a great resource for our business," said Vickey Maisano, of Paul Maisano Designs of Clarkston, Michigan. "I can't think of anywhere else where you pay so little and get back so much. I have made great connections with the Source of Title staff that have been both helpful and professional, which is a breath of fresh air. I wish all of our marketing dollars were of such value."

The services offered on Source of Title have expanded to include industry news, feature articles, and exclusive industry studies focusing on the relationships created through outsourcing. Coverage includes legislative changes, corporate announcements and press releases, industry trends, and special events. To ensure that users are kept current on industry issues, the news is updated daily, and weekly emails are sent to opted-in users to inform them of the most important headlines.

In order to improve communications, all registered users have access to the message forums, which have created a community for the industry to share their opinions and advice with others. The forums have more than 11,000 searchable posts on topics ranging from general business concerns to specific experiences relating to all aspects of working in the title industry.

"I have been listed on Source of Title since August 2003," said Wanda Steudel, the president of AccuSearch of Cleveland, Ohio. "I purchased an enhanced listing and saw immediate results. I have gotten several clients who contacted me saying 'I found you on the Source of Title Web site'. I find the general forum to be very informative and interesting. It is always good to be able to speak with others that have the same interests, and I know it has helped many abstractors in various ways."

While all users have access to the site, including the message forums, select directory listings and news articles, subscribers have full access all of the directory listings and news items.

"We have provided a valuable marketing channel to the many businesses that comprise the title industry and a public forum for our users to address their common issues and concerns," said Robert A. Franco, the president of Source of Title. "We have even seen a new national association [The National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA)] form from the discussions on our forums. Our users are dedicated to improving their industry and we are pleased that we have been able to be a part of it."
