Ropatt Releases Follow Up CD
The Return of The Twin" is the follow up to Ropatts (aka Ron Patton) debut solo CD, "Biggie Was Here", released in 2003, also on Twin Noir Records.
(PRWEB) September 18, 2005 -- This time around, Ropatts collective work of 16 tracks showcases more of his versatility, and musical influences covering a wide array of sounds from old school, Motown, classical, Hip Hop, smooth jazz, pop, r&b, country and movie soundtrack" music.
Ron was born and raised in Michigan. While attending Oakland University in Michigan, Ron decided to explore the possibilities of making songwriting a profession.
After graduating from college, Ron continued co-writing, recording songs with his twin brother, Arnold. They constantly promoted their demos to record labels and music publishers in the Detroit area.
Ron moved to Los Angeles in 1976, and a short time later, he began writing songs for Holland-Dozier-Holland Productions in Hollywood.
In 1980, Ron co-founded Baywest Records, which was based in Northern California.
Ropatt wrote and arranged every track except Something About U", which was co-written with his twin brother, Arnold, and former music band mate from college, bassist Alvin Taylor.
All in all, The Return of The Twin" is a very worthy successor to"Biggie Was Here." Order your copy online at http://www.cdbaby.com/ropatt2, or toll-free at
