FanOGram.com Announces Program to Help Katrina Survivors

Company donates 50% of all proceeds to the United Way of America Through October 31, 2005.

FanOGram.com, a unique sports related retail website, today announced that in the wake of the worst natural disaster in history, it would donate 50% of all net proceeds for the rest of September and all of October to the relief of the unprecedented suffering in the Gulf Coast region of Mississippi and Southern Louisiana.    

FanOGram.com president, Craig Bowen, and his family, had lived in the area as recently as December of 2004. He issued the following statement on Friday.

"The shock and complete devastation of Hurricane Katrina will be felt for generations to come. It is our responsibility as a nation to prop up our fellow Americans in times of need. 9-11 was an extraordinary example of solidarity and contribution. It is that time again. We encourage every one of our current and future customers to give as liberally as possible, and then give a little more. If you do not give through a purchase on our website, there is a convenient link to the United Way of America, where you can give or volunteer. Our family knows, firsthand, the generosity and wonderful spirit of the people of the South and our prayers are with them".    

"The United Way of America was chosen as FanOGram's direct charity because they are giving 100% of all donations to the cause." said Cindy Medina, CFO of FanOgram.com, "We felt they would handle the money, entrusted to us by our customers, with the utmost professionalism."

FanOGram.com will honor all contests on the website throughout this time, including the Superbowl ticket giveaway. All customers who purchase will automatically be entered in the drawing and those who do not purchase can still enter per the rules of the contest.
