New Version of Popular Compression Tool Unveiled at PowerPoint Live User Conference

Neuxpower Solutions today unveiled NXPowerLite 2.0, a brand new version of the leading presentation compression software. NXPowerLite optimises PowerPoint presentations by compressing the graphics and embedded documents contained within them, making them easier to handle, distribute and share.

San Diego (PRWEB) September 25, 2005 -- Neuxpower Solutions today unveiled NXPowerLite 2.0, a brand new version of the leading presentation compression software. NXPowerLite optimises PowerPoint presentations by compressing the graphics and embedded documents contained within them, making them easier to handle, distribute and share.

In today's mobile business environment, storage and bandwidth are at a premium. Optimised PowerPoint presentations take up less space. They lessen the load on corporate communication networks, decrease the chances of oversized emails being returned and reduce bandwidth costs for people that regularly transfer presentations over the web.

NXPowerLite 2.0 can reduce the size of PowerPoint files (as well as StarOffice and OpenOffice.org presentations saved in the PowerPoint file format) by as much as 95% with no discernible loss of quality. Completely re-written from the ground up, it's faster and more effective than previous versions and features a streamlined user interface.

Speaking at the PowerPoint Live user conference in San Diego, Neuxpower's Tommy Powell said "NXPowerLite 2.0 represents the next generation of presentation compression software. I'm delighted to demonstrate the product to PowerPoint Live visitors - some of the most fanatical PowerPoint users I have ever met!"

Neuxpower also announced NXPowerLite 2.0 Integrated Edition at the show - a special version of NXPowerLite that lets users optimise their presentations from the PowerPoint menu bar or by right-clicking them in Windows Explorer. Tommy commented "Many NXPowerLite users love the fact that it is a stand-alone tool that makes no changes to their PowerPoint installation. But some people have told us that they would prefer to optimize their presentations from within PowerPoint. With NXPowerLite 2.0 we offer you the choice."

NXPowerLite 2.0 will be available to purchase on 1st November through leading software resellers or from www.nxpowerlite.com. Review copies for press use available immediately.
