The most notable new feature with this release is the addition of segment opt-in. This enables organizations to set database fields in their contact lists as opt-in, to support the delivery of messages based on specific criteria. For example, if a client wanted to limit deployment of particular campaigns to clients from a certain city of residence, the company could define the city field as opt-in and specify a value for distribution. This would ensure that only contacts meeting this defined criteria would receive the campaign. This feature enhances KomunikÂs list segmentation functions, providing precise targeting within a data set.
Additional features added with this release include definable access parameters for user accounts and email distribution for custom campaign reports. Optimizations have also been made to the process of downloading comma separated value (CSV) contact reports, and to error handling for messages sent to either an empty contact list or segment count and to failed test deployments.
