Dr. Peter Pacik Performs Augmentation Mammaplasty Study With Excellent Aesthetic Results

Dr. Peter Pacik performs augmentation mammaplasty study with excellent aesthetic results. New technique improves breast rounding and fullness and prevents breast fold lowering.

(PRWEB) September 23, 2005 -- The Plastic Surgery Center (http://www.plasticsurgerypa.com/index.cfm?event=PressReleases&PressReleaseCategoryID=1&engine=SEP2305PRa) is pleased to announce that its founder, Peter T. Pacik, MD, FACS, was published in the July/August 2005 issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal for his article, Augmentation Mammaplasty: Enhancing Inferomedial Cleavage."

Dr. Pacik, certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, has been practicing since 1972 and has been involved in an ongoing study of pain control in breast enlargement surgery that now numbers 500 consecutive patients during the past 9 years. To contend with one of the more challenging aspects of augmentation mammaplasty - breast fold lowering - Dr. Pacik developed a technique that enhances breast fold lowering departing from traditional teachings.

Eschewing the common belief that though a breast can be enlarged, the innate shape of a womans breast cannot be changed, Dr. Pacik developed a more pronounced dissection of the inner lower portion of the breast fold by enhancing this portion of the dissection. This technique enables women who have abnormally high breast folds or lateral flare of the breasts to achieve a more natural breast appearance with enhanced roundness and fullness of the inner lower area of cleavage. This is in contrast to the traditional symmetrical markings used by the majority of plastic surgeons today.

Dr. Paciks asymmetrical markings helped reduce the problem of excessive lowering of the implants, improper seating of the breast implants, excessive upper breast fullness and inadequate rounding and cleavage of the inner lower zone of the breast resulting in a more natural breast shape, with rounding of the cleavage area and an appearance of balanced fullness.

It has been very rewarding knowing that we have a safe technique that gives a woman the enhanced cleavage she is looking for," says Dr. Pacik.
