Palm Beach County, FL (PRWEB) September 22, 2005 -- A Marital Obstacle Course designed to demonstrate "spousal" savvy helped never-wed singles columnist and television personality Angela Manfredi determine who would be her ideal two-week husband.

Hired husband hopefuls representing California, Cleveland, Atlanta, and South Florida vied for the two-week position through a series of tightly-timed activities including:

-         Selecting the size and style of a high-fashion evening gown for Angela (which all of the men agreed was the toughest task)
-         Hurricane supply shopping
-         Going one-on-one with a car salesman to negotiate a deal on a new vehicle
-         Jar opening & laundry-folding
-         Planning a weekend getaway

Following the tasks, the nine prospective "grooms" lined up and asked in unison, "Angela, will you hire me?" Angela then chose Boca Raton's Michael Marks, a 41-year-old sales executive, as her hired husband. "All of the guys were great!" Manfredi says. "But I could only choose one, and Michael's ebullient personality won me over."
