(PRWEB) September 23, 2005 -- Talking Book World is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather Christie to Senior District Manager for Canada.
In this newly created position, Heathers responsibilities include operational oversight of the companys three (soon to be four) retail stores in Ontario and providing guidance to our other District and Area Managers. In addition, Heather will retain responsibility for the Companys graphics requirements.
Heather Christie began her retail career with Talking Book World in December 1997 as a Sales Associate and was promoted to Assistant Manager in 1998. She was promoted to Store Manager in 2000 and has served as an Area Manager since 2004. In her role as Graphic Designer, Heather plays in vital part in the companys store signage, monthly audiobook newsletters and promotional activity.
Stuart Craig, CEO of Talking Book World, commented, Heather Christie has been instrumental in the success of our Mississauga store and this promotion is well deserved.
