Kanoodle Appoints New VP of Business Development

Kanoodle, the leader provider of sponsored links for content pages and search results, announces a new VP of Business Development, Douglas L. Knepper. Bringing more than two decades of publisher sales experience to the team, Mr Knepper will help drive innovative solutions for partners and will be responsible for developing relationships with leading publishers and media companies.

Kanoodle®, a leading provider of sponsored links for content pages and search results, today announced the appointment of Douglas L. Knepper as vice president of business development. Reporting to chief marketing officer, Mark Josephson, Mr Knepper will be responsible for developing relationships with leading publishers and media companies.

Knepper’s expertise lies in developing new businesses and partnerships to help publishers build their businesses. Having previously worked at Publishers Clearing House, iVillage, USA Weekend Magazine, and Intuit Corporation, Knepper has the hands-on knowledge of the market that matches Kanoodle’s goals. While at Publishers Clearing House, he established a new business unit, developed hundreds of partnerships and created new incremental, multi-channel programs.

“Doug has a proven ability to develop winning relationships with the biggest sites and publishers on the Web. I’m confident that he’ll help us develop more innovative solutions for our partners, build on the existing client base, and spread the word about the unique benefits that Kanoodle brings to publishers,” said Mark Josephson.

Knepper graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and is on the board of directors for the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) of Long Island.
