Efren Ramirez 'Pedro' of Napoleon Dynamite Portrays Ashlee Simpson's Boyfriend in her New Video 'Boyfriend'

Efren Ramirez lands major roles in two upcoming films that will hit in early 2006 for MTV and HBO pictures.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2005 -- Efren Ramirez star of the independent mega hit, "Napoleon Dynamite," can be seen in the new hit music video "Boyfriend" by Ashlee Simpson.

Her latest hit single is from her forthcoming album release. The video has been getting major airplay and has hit the number one spot on MTV's Total Request Live.

Efren Ramirez is best known for his portrayal as Pedro Sanchez in Napoleon Dynamite." Since the successful theatrical and DVD release of Napoleon Dynamite, Efren has landed major roles in two upcoming films including HBO Film's Walkout." This film is based on a true story about Mexican students in Los Angeles staged a walkout to protest disgraceful educational conditions and an anti-Mexican educational bias. Efren also is featured in the upcoming MTV Film Rumble."

These films will be released in 2006.

As well as working on these films Efren is preparing to launch his Vote for Pedro" scholarship which will help high school student's dreams come true. He also flew to NYC two weeks ago to donate his time to shoot a PSA for World's Aids Awareness Day.
