Company Credits Partnerships, Search Engine Optimization, and Site Enhancements for Triple Digit Growth

TravelPod, the Web's Original Travel Blog, announced that it has surpassed its third quarter growth forecast. "TravelPod.com shot past the 15,000 member threshold well ahead of schedule," said Martin Horne, president. Horne said the credit for TravelPod's surging growth goes to a combination of factors including strong new business partnerships and an aggressive search engine optimization campaign. The company reported that TravelPod.com now entertains more than 150,000 unique visitors and more than 15 million hits each month. "But that is still only one side of our success story," said Horne. To attract readers, TravelPod has expanded its reach into the worldwide community of travel enthusiasts through partnerships with some of the most respected names in the industry including Lonely Planet, Kayak, and the Travel Advisory Network. At the same time, the company has implemented a high-intensity search engine optimization (SEO) campaign to ensure that TravelPod.com is included in the results for a extensive list of travel-related keyword searches.
