Young Designer Megyn Florence to Unveil New Collection "Balance" in Paris for Fashion Week

The AICI (Association Internationale des Createurs Independants) is launching Megyn Florence from Against the Grain Couture at their leading avant-garde show this season in Paris.

(PRWEB) September 25, 2005 -- Against the Grain Couture is pleased to announce unveiling of our newest collection by designer Megyn Florence: Balance.

The Balance collection has emerged from the designers desire to fuse sculptural ideals with a modern wearability. Focusing on texture, shape and line, the garments are offered in a neutral colour palate of grays, blacks, browns and vintage whites. Megyn Florences innovative construction techniques are heavily emphasized in this collection, with exceptional fit and rich natural fabric choices bringing Contemporary Womenswear to artistic heights.

The 10th edition of Area Paris entitled "Gone Camping" will take place by invitation only from 4-6 October at the Espace Saint Martin 4th floor, 199bis rue Saint Martin 75003. Accessories and clothing designers will include Geoffrey B. Small, Josep Abril, Intuititive, Marcello Scunzani, House of Done, Upperground, Catherine Giacomini, Eber-Specher, Violle, B.O.R.N., Y Preston, Megyn Florence and Yiorgos Eleftheriades.

Area is organized by the AICI. Since 2003, the AICI has been serving the unique needs and interests of independent designers at a specific international level; and has made possible over 150 individual independent designer collection presentations and 20 individual independent catwalk presentations in Paris for independent designers; and generated over 2 million cumulative impressions on its efforts and members in the international fashion media.
