A small group of business owners in the mountians of Western North Carolina have formed a regional chamber of commerce, dedicated to serving the Greater Asheville area. To promote all of the mountain region of Western North Carolina, they decided to recently form the Greater Asheville Chamber of Commerce.

(PRWEB) September 26, 2005 -- A small group of business owners in the mountians of Western North Carolina have formed a regional chamber of commerce, dedicated to serving the Greater Asheville area. To promote all of the mountain region of Western North Carolina, they decided to recently form the Greater Asheville Chamber of Commerce.

For the most part, the group forming the association were cabin rental owners. They felt there was much more to offer for mountain vacations than just the city of Asheville, and to that end they provide information on less-known mountain vacation spots than do others in the area.

The core group forming the Greater Asheville Chamber of Commerce formed back in 1999 as members who were doing cabin rentals in the Asheville area.
