New picture book introduces young children to Halloween without the frights. Profits benefit homeless families.

Is Halloween too scary for young children? A new book introduces pre-school kids to the traditions of Halloween without terror and gore. The Bear Who Loves Halloween ($15.95) follows a young bear's journey as he discovers the sweet and joyful customs of a holiday devoted to children of all ages.

According to author Jennifer Karin Sidford, "I created the book based on the questions my two-year old asked me about Halloween. It can be overwhelming for very young children to understand the holiday's spookier elements."

Parents introducing Halloween to their children will love and appreciate the story's unfolding without scary images or words. Children will love Jack's fun-filled adventure as they think about their own upcoming celebration.

The Bear Who Loves Halloween, by Jennifer Karin Sidford and illustrated by Sam Kimball is available for $15.95 from http://www.ThreeSonsPublishing.com, http://www.Amazon.com or by ordering from your local bookstore.

Profits directly benefit Habitat for Humanity and One Family, Inc. to help provide homes and create solutions to ending family homelessness, respectively.
