Intelligent Design Issues of 'Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis' Appear in Dover Trial

A new book by Gary Clifford Gibson 'Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis' investigates controversial philosophical subjects found at the core of confusion in public debate and trial such as in the Dover Pennsylvania School Board trial on Intelligent Design's right to be included in school science classes. Intelligent Design should be included in a philosophy of creation class to balance scientific atheism's naive philosophical assumptions regarding cosmological 'origins'.

(PRWEB) September 28, 2005 -- Since the brilliant 1989 book on science, philosophy, cosmology and creation by the Australian Professor of mathematical physics Paul Davies' 'The Mind of God' the vast subject of philosophical investigations of cosmological paradigms and their relation to theories about God's role in creating the Universe has been available to curious members of the general public. There are literally dozens or hundreds of scientific paradigms regarding the nature, subject, shape, size, age and future of the Universe. A new book by Gary Clifford Gibson continues the examination of the philosophical paradigms of cosmology and Christian ideas about universal origin.

There are many ways to interpret the Bible's book of Genesis and it's literal, representative values dating the creation of the Universe. Does Second Peter Chapter 3 exemplify the uncertainty? "8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

The age of the antediluvian Patriarchs given this conversion value is 2,453,235,000 years. Paleontologists suggest that multicellular life on Earth started about 2,600,000,000 years before present.

Gary Gibson's book examines issues of intelligent design and cosmic creation from a Christian point of view. Published in June 2005 'Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis' advances the discussion of Intelligent Design to a commonly higher level transcending the continuing basis of debate based perhaps in error solely on Darwin, Guth and Usher hyper-tweaked.
