King of Shaves Announce Sponsorship of White Air XSF Extreme Sports Festival 2005 October 27-30, Isle of Wight, UK.
Created by Nigel Howells in 1997 as a Wind and Surf based event, the White Air Extreme Sports Festival has grown enormously, attracting competitors and spectators from all over Europe. The event is particularly successful due to it's spectator friendly location and is now regarded as one of the most prestigious International Extreme Sports festivals on the calendar. King of Shaves, the UK's #2 men's high performance shaving and skincare brand are delighted to be sole event sponsor. The event also forms part of Fosters Surf Tour.
(PRWEB) September 28, 2005 -- Held at Yaverland, near Sandown, IoW between October 27th and 30th 2005, the King of Shaves White Air XSF (Extreme Sports Festival) is this year's extreme sports highlight for competitors and spectators alike. Although it has its roots firmly in the watersport competitions the event has now expanded to breath-taking, awe-inspring land based XS disciplines too, much to the spectators' delight.
On the water, competitions and events involve Windsurfing, Wavesailing, Slalom Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Surfing, Thundercats, Surf Kayak Racing and Jet Ski Freestyle.
Whilst on-land (or in-air), BMX, Inline, Skateboarding, Mountain Boarding, Indoor Climbing and Mountain Biking have added greatly to this huge extreme sports competition enabling top action not only on the water but now just as much on the land as well.
White Air XSF has built its reputation around top class competition combined with a friendly competitor and spectator atmosphere. The variety of live music every night and the huge marquee party on the weekend are all part of this unique event.
The event now attracts some 500 world-class competitors and 20,000 spectators over the 4 days! Whatever the weather there will be action either on the land, on the water, or both!
Special events are also planned including hair raising 'Extreme Shaving 'stunts both afloat and ashore, a slew of great British bands, Miss White Air 2005 and a whole lot more!
