Therefore, it should be no surprise that the company announced recently that it had entered into an agreement for yet another product that would also help preserve greens and enhance the playing experience. Initially, CHAMP will manufacture a new model of the tool made of a durable plastic polymer. The tool is a lightweight pocket sized mechanical device that quickly and correctly repairs ball marks with the same motion that is prescribed by most of golf’s turf care authorities. The product’s four prongs surround a ball mark and reach into the green. A golfer simply needs to squeeze and the ball mark is quickly and correctly repaired. It’s virtually impossible to misuse. The product was also met with great enthusiasm earlier this year at the industry’s two major U.S. golf shows. Golf, Inc. magazine named it a “Top Pick” of the 2005 PGA Show. One notable sale of the product was to Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort in central Florida.
