RealtyBaron Provides Relief to Realtors in Fight Against Department of Justice Lawsuit

RealtyBaron's innovative online commission bidding service could be the answer for realtors as the National Association of Realtors prepares to battle the anti-trust lawsuit.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) September 27, 2005 -- RealtyBaron™ (www.realtybaron.com/pr/nar-vs-doj), a pioneer in online commission bidding services for realtors and consumers and creator of IntelligentValue™ and AgentRank™, offers help to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in its fight against a lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ). In an open letter to the NAR below, RealtyBaron calls upon realtors to embrace innovative services that provide consumers with choice and competitive sales commissions through online bidding services:

Dear National Association of Realtors (NAR),

In light of the recent anti-trust lawsuit brought against your organization, we understand your need to cite examples of innovation and competition in the real estate industry. We believe our service of enabling anonymous negotiation between consumers and realtors through the Web is free-market competition in its purest form. Therefore, we offer ourselves to you to include as evidence in your ongoing public defense.

Our service specifically provides three points of defense for your organization:

First, consumers can anonymously accept bids from realtors in their zip code. While the consumer remains anonymous, the bidding is open for all to view. This format ensures consumers receive the best price for the services they want.

Secondly, consumers choose how they pay for services -- either a sales commission or flat fee -- allowing all business models to compete for the consumer's listing.

Thirdly, consumers can ensure the quality of service received by utilizing our ranking system called AgentRank to control bidding. By requiring a minimum ranking to bid, consumers only receive bids from realtors whose business model consistently outperforms the competition in terms of sales and feedback from previous clients.

We hope you will give our proposal serious consideration and wish you luck in your fight against the Department of Justice.

Sincerely,

The RealtyBaron Team
