Two More Colleges Join SAGEs Tuition Rewards Program
SAGE Scholars has announced the addition of two schools to its Tuition Rewards Program, which allows families to earn guaranteed private college scholarships by saving.
(PRWEB) September 29, 2005 -- The list of member schools in the Tuition Rewards Program keeps growing. SAGE Scholars has announced the addition of two more schools, Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina, and Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont, into its consortium of private colleges and universities that encourages families to save for college.
Barton College is the ninth school in North Carolina to participate in SAGE. We are very pleased with our growth in the southeastern part of the United States in recent months," stated SAGE's CEO, Dr. James Johnston. Not only have we added Barton to SAGE, but we have also picked up schools in Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee." Barton was founded in 1902 and currently has 1,200 undergraduate students. Recently named as a Best Southeastern College" by The Princeton Review, Barton was also named to the Top Schools" category in the Comprehensive Colleges Bachelor's - South Division in the U.S. News & World Report 2006 rankings.
Green Mountain College is the first Vermont school to join the Tuition Rewards Program. With Green Mountain joining SAGE, Tuition Rewards are now offered in thirty-three states. Green Mountain College was founded in 1834 and is a 4-year, coeducational, private college that emphasizes modern environmental thought along with a traditional liberal arts education.
