Founded by Gregory Lawrance and Luis Fernandez the clothing caters to the confident, discerning, and active individual. The distinctively tailored fit of the company's flagship product - graphic tees - emphasize the masculine v- shape of the body, and enhances the wearer's physique.

The company's name is a sly reference to the digits on a telephone dial pad, which spell out gay. The line is aimed at men who comfortably reside in a realm between unassumingly gay, and modestly metrosexual. With discreet graphics like 429Boy, 429YouWish, or 429Absolutely the wearer can be either coy or forthcoming about their preference. These shirts are for everybody, for those so inclined there is a 'no graphic' option. Subtle is sexy.
