In the recent events of Hurricane Rita, Milliondollarchallenger.com vows to donate half of its expected sum to the victims of the tragedy. The rival, milliondollarhomepage.com started the site in hopes to raise money for a college fund. It is selling "pixel" advertisements to its customers at a minimum of 100 dollars.
With their adversary having an approximate 200,000 dollar lead, Milliondollarchallenger.com plans to surpass that figure with the enthusiastic cooperation of large corporations, by offering the same type of service with a good incentive. It hopes companies will step up and contribute to a needed effort, with the added benefit of advertising their own services.
Milliondollarchallenger.com hopes large corporations will take part in this race to help raise money for a good cause. Corporations that already donated are more than welcome to donate once again.
