Tap Dancing Podcaster Announces Most Tap Danceable News of 2004 -- First Annual Tap Dancer of the Year Award Goes to Dan Rather

The most tap dance worthy news stories of 2004 have been posted to openpodcast.org by the 21st century's premiere tap dancing podcaster, Sondra Lowell. In the first presentation of an annual award, her year end wrapup honors soon-to-be ex-news anchor Dan Rather as Tap Dancer of the Year for his deft handling of fake source material in a major exposé.

Hollywood CA (PRWEB) January 2, 2005 -- The most tap dance worthy news stories of the past year have been posted to openpodcast.org by the 21st century's premiere tap dancing podcaster, Sondra Lowell. In the first presentation of an annual award, her 2004 wrapup honors soon-to-be ex-news anchor Dan Rather as Tap Dancer of the Year, for his deft handling of fake source material in a major exposé.

The main qualification for winning personalities and events was that they had to fit the tune into which Sondra squeezes the news. Honorable mention winner Amber Frey, for example, placed as well as she did because her last name rhymes with "testify" (when sung with the emphasis on the last syllable). It also helped that Frey's upcoming "book" rhymes with Martha Stewart's culinary "tips...from her prison cook."

"It was heartbreaking to have to leave out such outstanding contenders as Janet Jackson's breast, Ashlee Simpson's lips, Britney Spears' weddings and Anna Nicole Smith's disappearing $88.5 million inheritance," said the journalistic pioneer. "But a song can only go on for so long."

Sondra has been podcasting since October, 2004, reaching a worldwide audience that hungers for objective, unslanted, unmanaged yet hummable news.
