Tsunami Tragedy Shakes the Faithful

How people of all faiths can retain their beliefs in the face of tragedy is the topic of discussion on The God Hypothesis" Internet Talk Radio Show on the VoiceAmerica Radio Network on Friday, January 7th.

(PRWEB) January 7, 2005 -- The December 26 tsunami killed tens of thousands of people in more than 11 countries has left the faithful asking the question, How could a perfectly good and all-powerful God have allowed such a disaster to happen in the first place?" On Friday, January 7th at 4PM Eastern (1PM Pacific) noted astrophysicist and theology expert, Dr. Hugh Ross, Ph. D., speaks on this struggle with faith on The God Hypothesis" internet talk radio show hosted by Dr. Michael A. Corey on the VoiceAmerica Radio Network (http://www.voice.voiceamerica.com/).

Drs. Corey and Ross will be discussing the many theological implications of the horrible tsunami tragedy that took place at the end of 2004 and the reason why a perfectly good and all-powerful God tolerates evil on this planet.

Dr. Hugh Ross is the President and Director of Research with Reasons to Believe, (http://www.reasons.org/), an international, interdenominational ministry established to communicate the uniquely factual basis for belief in the Bible as the wholly true Word of God and for personal faith in Jesus Christ.

The magnitude of the devastation due to the tsunami in Asia goes beyond the tremendous physical loss", said host Dr. Michael A. Corey. People of all faiths, religions and beliefs have felt ruin in their soul. However, faith can, will and should be restored knowing that there is a God."

The God Hypothesis", based on the book of the same name, is dedicated to revealing the unfathomable concrete relationship between the seemingly dichotomous fields of theology and science to indeed prove that there is a ‘God. Host Dr. Michael A. Corey reveals the four distinct and unprecedented scientific discoveries that will shake pre-existing, personal paradigms to open up the grandest cosmological query of all time and answer it conclusively. Be a part of the dialogue, the controversy, and the answer.
