Abbott Northwestern Hospital Subscribes to Saferating Inc. Pharmacist Intervention Reporting System

Saferating Inc. announces today that Minneapolis-based Abbott Northwestern Hospital Center purchased its pharmacist clinical intervention reporting tool utilizing the power of Paperless Form Technology (PFT) for its inpatient pharmacists. Abbott Northwestern pharmacists now utilize Saferating.com to report, manage, and analyze pharmacist interventions.

Lewiston, ME (PRWEB) January 18, 2005 - On November 11th Abbott Northwestern Hospital pharmacists began utilizing Saferatings PFT. Staff now have instant and secure web access of pharmacist clinical interventions reporting. Pharmacy leadership will be notified via Saferatings automated email function upon submission by staff and have real time access to all data reported about the intervention. Follow-up and analysis will utilize Saferatings powerful query engine and report generator to enhance its system improvement and contribute to compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards.

This represent an important innovation for Abbott Northwest Hospital Center to enhance patient safety and improve real time reporting when pharmacists are required to intervene. And since the Saferating system employs their Paperless Form Technology, it is expected to become a cost-saving measure for the facility.
