Bob Polus founded Xact in 1994. Under Polus leadership, the company has become one of the leading suppliers of litigation services in the U.S. In 2002, Xact made a strategic decision to offer electronic discovery services. Xact opened an Electronic Discovery Support Center at their corporate headquarters in Kansas City. In early 2004, Xact hired Kent Teague to head its electronic discovery services division. Under his leadership, this product line has significantly contributed to company growth.
About Bob Polus
Bob Polus is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Xact; prior to being Chairman, Polus was the president. Polus has extensive business development experience. Early in his career he worked in restaurant management. He then worked in commercial development as Vice President of Sales for Regency Development in California. Then Polus became Vice President of New Business Development for Imperial Equity where he led their efforts to source investment grade companies for acquisition. With an eye towards starting his own company, Polus came in contact with the owners of Legal Express in Phoenix, Arizona, a legal services company. It was here that he learned the litigation support business. This experience served as the foundation for forming Xact, which he founded in 1994.

Kent Teague is the President of Xact. Prior to becoming president, he was President of Xacts Electronic Data Discovery and Data Services business. Teague has a dynamic blend of business and technology experience. His career includes Director of Development at Saber Software where he had responsibility for the development team who built the product on which Saber went public. From 1992 to 1999, Teague worked for Microsoft Corporation. He held a number of different leadership positions including responsibility for all Microsoft consultants devoted to retail clients. He was recognized as a Microsoft Manager of the Year" in 1998 and also received numerous other awards while at Microsoft. Teague is a graduate of Trinity University with a B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science.
