Amsterdam, The Netherlands (PRWEB) October 1, 2005
W2 Solutions (to be) released a new web site, The Ten Million Dollar Website. The site is a copycat of The Million Dollar Homepage by a 21-year-old British entrepreneur who is hoping to pay his way through university - by selling 1 million pixels of ad space for $1 each on his website's homepage. Yet, the tenmilliondollarwebsite.com takes it several big steps further.
Despite the original site being on line for only a short time it has made a significant amount of money and has sparked a wave of copycat sites across the world. The creator, Alex Tew, from Wiltshire, England, does say on his site when asked if he was worried about copy-cats/rip-offs that, "Not at all. It is bound to happen (this is the Internet after all)," "They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and "I say good luck to the imitators!"
Following the spirit of his words Janwillem Heikens and Walter Schonewille, both eager to start web designers / consultants from The Netherlands have created their own succesfull site, http://www.tenmilliondollarwebsite.com which works in exactly the same manner. The only difference perhaps, is that they are the only one to offer the first 1000 buyers a completely free unlimited webhosting account inclusive a free url valued at $325,000!
Walter, 33, commented, "The Ten Million Dollar Website will be a great advertising platform for the whole wide world and will be more effective than the original one million dollar website. Why? Let's be honest here, what would you choose? ONE million dollar or TEN million dollar? It works like that online as well. Our plans with the site?
Initially, we would like to make our first dream come through. And that is really starting up our own business. Be part of it! With the proceedings of our site it should be well possible. But, you know, the main goal would be to better the lives of many people around the world who need this the most. A few million dollars will put us in the position to actually do something.
Why I want this? Well, having been homeless myself for 1,5 years due to losing my company I learned how important it is to get help when you need this. This website may makes me capable to change the history for those people. This thought makes me smile.
The objective of the site is to help advertisers reach millions of potential customers. By riding the profitable waves of a craze currently sweeping the web & by using advanced Search Engine Optimisation techniques this site will soon have a very high page ranking. And, as a bonus for the first 1000 buyers, in addition to your free webhosting account you will also receive a full professional Search Engine Optimization package valued $250,00.
The prime aim of the site is to provide highly effective advertising space for all of the customers. Secondly our aim is to gain enough money to start up our company. And if the site is successful enough, we might well be able to start with our humanitarian projects. We invite you and anybody interested to follow our blog.
We are no students, and we are not looking to pay for college. Yet, when the site is successful enough, we would love to pay and we will pay for people who never had college or even seen a school before in their lives. We have made plans when the site reaches a certain level of success, says Janwillem.
