CAPIS Names New Fixed Income Head

Capital Institutional Services names Neil Decker as a Senior Vice President and Director of Fixed Income Trading effective immediately.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 3, 2005 -- Capital Institutional Services, Inc., a Dallas-based institutional brokerage firm, has named Neil Decker as a Senior Vice President and Director of Fixed Income Trading effective immediately, the company announced Monday. Decker brings more than 20 years experience in fixed income--both risk and riskless trading--trading to the firm.

"Im excited about the opportunity to help strengthen the relationships between the fixed income desk, the sales staff, and CAPIS client base," said Decker. "I look forward to building upon CAPIS unique business model, as well as leveraging the success of the firms equity trading teams."

Decker has worked as a fixed income trader for more than 20 years, beginning as a fixed income generalist during the 1980s. Subsequently, he worked at Simmons First National Bank in fixed income sales before returning to a trading role at Llama Company. At Llama, he served as a registered principal for general and municipal securities, in addition to actively trading governments, agencies, corporates, mortgage-backed collateral and CMOs, ARMs, and municipals. Decker also managed municipal underwritings for the company. For the past ten years, he held roles ranging from Agency Debt Trader, to Risk Manager and Co-Manager of the Dealer Sales Desk at Zions Bank Capital Markets. Decker holds Series 7, 63, 24, and 53 licenses.

Under his supervision, CAPIS plans to expand the fixed income desk while providing better trading support and services for the benefit of its clients.

"Neil has the perfect blend of industry expertise and insight to effectively lead our fixed income desk. His addition to the firm will further CAPIS goal of providing the best fixed income trading products and services to our institutional clients," said James Morrow, Chief Operating Officer of Sales and Trading.
